The Dawn of The Gato Negro Society

On a bright and chilly Saturday afternoon in Chelsea, eight whimsical twenty-somethings met in a living room with a dream of a book club and a huge bottle of Gato Negro, one of the most repugnant, uncostly wines a person could drink.

With some liquid courage and a dying need for something routine in their bedlam-filled lives, these confused souls decided to conquer the worlds of literature and Gato Negro, one book and bottle at a time.

Welcome to The Gato Negro Society.
